Question: Why I can't install USB IrDA module in OS Windows 7?
Answer: Insert IrDA module in USB port. It is necessary to be connected to internet at the moment. Driver will be downloaded soon and there the installation will start immediatelly after downloading.

Question: Why don't my device connect to USB IrDA module?
Answer: It can be caused because of lower speed of Your device. Open Device Manager and then click "Infrared devices" and than choose "SigmaTel USB-IrDA Dongle". Then right-click "Properties" and in bookmark "Advanced" choose needed speed in "Speed Enable" (We recommend to slow down speed to 38400 bps).

Question:  i-tec USB IrDA adapter is installed in Win7/8 but doesn't create virtual COM port ( in Win XP is virtual COM created) . How can I do virtual port in Win 7/8?
Odpověď:  Installation of IrDA adapter in Win 7/8 is described above. Virtual COM port in Win 7/8 is created during connecting with opposite IrDA device and speed of data rate you can set by previous question.
