PCIe to USB 3.0 adapter is PCIe x1 card with two external USB 3.0 ports (backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1). It is fully compliant with PCI Express Base Specification Revision 2.0. Adapter supports communication with USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices on both USB ports, with max data rate up to 5 Gbps. It supports additional power supply owing to integrated 4-pin port.

Actually, you can encounter 2 different versions of this card sold under the same name. Older version was based on older chipset uPD720200. New version is based on chipset uPD72002.

Each card needs different drivers.

uPD720200 version you can recognize by its black color board.
uPD720202 version you can recognize by its green color board and blue i-tec sticker on its back side.

Question: I have a card with uPD720202. It can not detect connected device.
Answer: You should upgrade firmware of your card and install latest drivers. You can get both firmware and drivers from download part of this page. Then proceed the upgrade according to instructions in UPDATE FIRMWARE quick guide.

Question: Why USB device disconnects or doesn't work properly?
Answer: Make sure, that MOLEX connector of PSU is connected to charging port of PCIe Card.

Question: Why USB device disconnects or doesn't work properly? Some devices are not detected.
Answer: It can be caused by old drivers. Please download actual drivers from Download bookmark and install it.

Question: During installation appears message about VBScript. Is unable to install device.
Answer: It´s Microsoft error. Please follow the informations on Microsoft website here.
